I discovered Stand Up Paddle Boarding in 2013 and immediately connected it with my background in dance, as paddling involves rhythm and balance!
Back then, I was at the forefront of the relatively new emerging sport of SUP. I began training and entering races.
My experience and expertise with teaching children has transferred to instructing and coaching paddle boarding for children and adults. I now specialise in one-on-one coaching, group fitness, school groups and birthday parties.
I am an accredited instructor through Surfing WA and hold a Certificate III as an Education Assistant. I’ve taught students of all abilities throughout my career.
Being part of the Stand Up Surf Shop team, introducing new people to Stand Up Paddling and sharing my passion is a pretty good gig.
I’m also not going to lie – not having to wear shoes to work is totally awesome!
Nothing puts me in my happy place better than spending time on the water sharing my love of SUP!
Drop into to the shop and say Hi.
The women I've met competing have been such an inspiration for me. I made some wonderful friends from all over Australia.
