Our Stand Up Surf Shop Fitness classes are becoming more and more popular as people are discovering the benefits of paddling on your overall fitness and well-being.

Training in a group keeps you accountable and the social aspects makes the sessions fun and dynamic.

Our SUP fitness classes are for intermediate paddlers who are looking to develop and refine their paddling and to improve overall fitness.

The fitness classes are a structured four-week series. It is beneficial if you make all four sessions.

The cost of the four week course is $130

All equipment is provided. But if you have your own board, you’re welcome to use it.

Fitness Classes are typically held at one of these two beautiful, calm locations:

  • Swan River at Freshwater Bay, Peppermint Grove. Drive along the Esplanade and you’ll see us on the river where Keane St ends. This ideal spot is protected in most wind conditions, which allow for calm water and easy paddling.
  • Fremantle Sailing Club – a beautifully protected ocean bay, adjacent to the Sailing Club.

Locations may change according to weather conditions.

Perth Stand Up Paddle School only uses qualified and highly experienced SUP instructors for the fitness classes.

As we are affiliated with Surfing WA our instructors have all completed at least a Level 1 course or alternatively completed a Level 1 and 2 ASI equivalent.

Our fit, enthusiastic instructor – Nicki Jones – teaches the SUP fitness class.
