Neuro Paddle is a collaboration between Embark Physio and Perth Stand Up Paddle School. The aim is to use SUP to help engage and rehabilitate people living with neurological conditions.
Who’s Behind Neuro Paddle
Nicole Lagesse form Embark Physio has a goal to build a community that promotes living a physically active and healthy lifestyle within the ageing, neurological, and disability communities.
Nicki Jones from Perth Stand Up Paddle School is passionate about making paddle boarding accessible to all people, regardless of their abilities.
Between them, Nicole and Nicki have created a framework called ‘Neuro Paddle’. It’s a unique opportunity for those with neurological conditions to keep mentally active and physically fit. SUP builds confidence, strength and balance in a fun and different way.
